About Organic Shampoo

You are aware of many organic products but now you are in search of a hair care product that is of organic nature, aren’t you? Organic and natural products were just a fashion statement till recently but now it has turned out to be a life style to most of the people. With the development of science and information technology, everyone has become conscious of the adverse effects that cause to humans with the use of unnatural products. The challenging factor is to find out the right organic hair product like choosing an organic shampoo.

Do you know that water content is not included while calculating the organic nature of an organic food product? But naturally shampoos should contain water content and the non organic shampoos contain 70% water and the rest would be chemicals and vitamins. And you know that chemicals even in minute amounts have the ability to cause adverse effects to your hair. In the manufacturing of most companies use herbal tea for the water content and replace the chemicals with organic herbs. They launch the shampoos in the market as organic shampoos.

The ingredients of the hair care products like an organic shampoo is to be mentioned in its chemical name. Vitamin E is an essential component which causes practically no damage as it is a natural preservative but it would be mentioned in the ingredients’ list of the shampoo as tocopherols. Choosing the appropriate organic shampoo is a tricky thing and you should be sure not to use an organic shampoo that contains parabens, phthalates, and especially sodium laurel sulfates which is the most hazardous. These chemical products are considered to cause most of the damages to you as well as your hair. But the sodium laurel sulfate is commonly found in shampoos as it gives you more lather. When using an organic shampoo you would find that not much lather is formed but you can be definite that it would clean your hair completely devoid of any dust or dirt. Choosing an organic shampoo is better as it would clean not only your hair but also the environment in a healthy way.

The process of finding just the right hypoallergenic shampoo can be a daunting task unless you know and understand a few important things about the ingredients used to manufacture the product. This is especially true for those with very sensitive skin. Many of the health and beauty products on the market labeled hypoallergenic can still be an irritant for those with sensitive skin, so it’s a good idea to learn how to read the label of the product you’re considering.

Be Aware of These Key Ingredients

Health and beauty companies can mark their shampoos hypoallergenic and still add ingredients that could cause you to break out or to have itchy skin. Considering that our skin absorbs anything that we put on it, we should be extra careful when choosing shampoo, conditioner, lotion, cosmetics, etc.

Which ingredients should you be aware of and looking for each time you pick up a shampoo?

* Sodium Lauryl Sulfate – also referred to as Sodium Laureth Sulfate, this is one of the ingredients in shampoo that creates the foaming action with which we’re all familiar. However, this ingredient has been linked to potential health issues such as toxicity of the brain, endocrine system, nervous system, and organs.

* Fragrances – the addition of fragrance to shampoo is not necessary for cleanliness. In fact, fragrances are allergens that are derived synthetically and can be an irritant to many skin types. Your hair will still smell fresh and clean naturally without the use of a single chemical fragrance.

* Parabens – these ingredients are utilized as preservatives in many health and beauty products, including shampoo. Parabens have been linked to breast cancer. Some researchers say children should only use paraben-free products or else they could be predisposed to cancer in later life. Men and women suffering from rosacea should opt for paraben-free shampoos. Sensitive skin is also irritated by parabens, causing redness, blotchiness, and even breakouts.

It’s important to note that unless you make your own health and beauty products at home, even natural products will require some sort of preservative. Discontinue use of any hypoallergenic shampoo or other natural product if it smells strange or rancid. That smell is a warning that the oils in the product are no longer safe to use.

It’s possible for a hypoallergenic shampoo to contain Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and parabens along with several other potential skin irritants, so it’s important to do the research and know which ingredients could be a problem for you. Print out a list and take it with you! That way, you know exactly what you’re looking for instead of standing in the aisle trying to extract the long chemical names from memory.

Additional Potential Skin Irritants in All-Natural Shampoo

Keep your eyes open as well for the following ingredients: petroleum or by-products of petroleum, aluminum, triclosan, animal by-products, and certain forms of alcohol, to name a few.

It is unfortunate that health and beauty companies who manufacture all-natural products are still getting away with adding ingredients that could cause serious skin issues and other health issues for the users. However, now that you have more information on how to choose a safer hypoallergenic shampoo, you’ll no longer be stressed out or confused while walking down the shampoo aisle!

How to Identify A Real Herbal Shampoo?

With the rise of interest in organic and herbal products, people these days also prefer to look for beauty products which are purely natural. However, with the increase in people’s preference in herbal products, the market and even Internet is abundant with ‘natural’ skin care and hair care products. Unfortunately, most of these products are actually not herbal. You’ll easily find too many herbal shampoos available for sale online and claiming to be all natural. The scenario, thus, is confusing. Many users want to know that how they can ascertain the shampoo they are using would not further damage their hair.  Natural shampoos to the test and find out if these products are worth the hype.

The best way is to look at the lable on the shampoo packaging and read it carefully before you buy. Similarly, read all the details available online if are looking for an herbal shampoo over Internet. A genuine product would mention all the ingredients over the packaging and its website. Discard the shampoo which is promoted as an herbal product but contains any or more of following chemicals:

- propylene glycol or glycol– a cheap petrochemical.
– cetearyl alcohol – emulsifier that can be synthetic or natural.
– methylparaben or propylparaben – typical synthetic preservatives.
– distearate – this is polyethylene glycol or polypropylene glycol which are petrochemicals.
– isopropyl alcohol – used as a cheap solvent to carry synthetic oils.

Following are some of the herbs used by aryuveda since ancient times to fight and treat problems related with the hair. If you find these in the contents of a herbal shampoo and then so far so good:

- Amla (Gooseberry)
– Aloe Vera
– Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum graecum)
– Bhringraj (Eclipta Alba)
– Soap nuts (Sapindus Mukorossi)
– Shikakai (Acacia Concinna)
– Neem (Azadirachta Indica)
– Henna (Lawsonia Inermis)

There are thousands of herbal shampoos available over the counter and Internet. No such shampoo can be termed as miracle. However, a genuine chemical free herbal shampoo can actually arrest hair loss and, in some cases, also regrow hair. Be careful in selecting your shampoo and ensure that it does not contain harsh chemicals like SDL, synthetic dyes, and fragrance. The combination of natural and herbal ingredients will help achieve maximum benefit on your hair.

A dry shampoo is a popular product for your hair as it is a great way to clean your hair and when you are out of time or you don’t have the ability to wash out your hair.

Dry shampoos contain a special formula which ill clean the hair and absorbs excess oil and dirt from your locks without the use of water.

Dry shampoos contain ingredients which will eliminate static and sebum by absorbing the excessive oils which tend to leave the hair clean looking without getting your hair wet.

a dry shampoo is usually sprayed on the all the hair, and it is supposed to work for a little bit of time,-usually this is a couple of minutes in order to absorb the impurities and brushed out using a brush or a comb.

The simple act of brushing the dry shampoo which is not filled with absorbed dirt and oil which used to be stuck on your hair and scalp will be brushed out of the hair.

So you are looking for a dry shampoo.-but why?  We all know that washing your hair with water is crucial because it washes away the dirt. However sometimes dry shampoos are used for several reasons:

Usually because the commercial shampoos you use strip your hair sebum which leads to an oily scalp, so to stop an oily scalp you use a dry shampoo

Well now you don’t have to avoid washing your hair with shampoo, shampoo has SLS which is what strips away sebum

Why? Thanks to 5000 year old secret oil which sends your hair natural oils to the right level- this eliminates the oily hair condition that usually calls for using a dry shampoo!

The fact is excessive shampoo use damaged your hair, so does using heat styling tools and color

Another culprit for oily and bad hair is over washing your hair

The first thing you have to know is that oily, dry or brittle hair comes about from over washing your hair , the shampoo contains harsh chemicals that strip the natural oils away from the scalp and hair making it dry

If you continue using these shampoos you will get brittle hair

In fact you should only shampoo your hair every 2-3 days and you must use an all natural shampoo to wash your hair out. If you don’t have a natural shampoo then you need to use GRO hair oil to balance sebum production and get your hair and scalp to produce just the right amount of natural oils that make your hair and scalp healthy

The best treatment for dry brittle or oily hair is to give your scalp and hair some deep conditioning by using powerful hair oil called Mira hair oil which is what I am selling here on eBay

HOW TO USE: Simply soak your hair and scalp with Mira hair oil and wrap a wet hot towel over your hair for 30 minutes and then wash your hair out

The warm towel will help hold in the body heat which will allow your brittle hair to absorb more moisture. When you are done be sure to rinse your brittle hair with cool water because this will also help close down the pores of your hair which will tame frizz, dry and brittle hair and also help you lock in hair moisture.

Our GRO HAIR oil has no smell and no color and you will be able to wash your hair like an average person, if you want to keep your hair from falling out and you don’t need to hide from washing your hair .do not use dry shampoo, dry shampoos are usually made from chemicals and chemicals are simply not good for your hair rand they will eventually clog your hair follicles and slow hair growth

Even if you have perfect hair you need GRO hair oil as it makes your hair healthy and maintains the right sebum levels!
